275.DESENVOLVIMENTO E APLICAÇÃO DE UMA FERRAMENTA DIDÁTICA NA TRÍADE CIÊNCIA, TECNOLOGIA E SOCIEDADE, NO ENSINO DE QUÍMICA, PARA TURMAS DE JOVENS E ADULTOS
In Brazil, the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a teaching modality, designed for an audience that has, in most cases, distortions between the age-grade and age-conclusion, in general, they are individuals socially excluded, marked by diversity. These people bring with them a reproof history, repetitions and evasions. These problems are most prominent, when commented above on the teaching of Chemistry, considered by many abstract and subjective. Thus, the objective of this research was to develop and apply didactic tools for classes of EJA in order to facilitate the process of teaching and learning of this discipline. In this context, the chosen methodology was qualitative and integrated to the reality of students, aiming, through the Science approach, Technology and Society - CTS to promote an significantly education, using, as a tool, tailored experiments with alternative materials that has low financial value. The results showed a positive impact on student learning, that through a qualitative diagnostic, formative and process evaluation, it was possible to see which content had better assimilation or not, from the students. Importantly, at any moment of the investigation, it was taken into account prior knowledge of each individual, that’s why we managed to give significance to the contente aplied. Finally, the research has shown that there is an urgent need for changing the current obsolete method practiced by many teachers, in order to generate a further teaching of Chemistry contextualized and related to the experience of each student in EJA. Thus, the application of new didactic tools comes as a laudable option to change this reality and promote a more meaningful learning.Author(s):
